Terms of service

These Terms apply to purchases from Kinmoire Studio, operated by Aztura Ltd. By placing an order or paying a design deposit, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and availability

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. At launch, we accept orders only for delivery to eligible addresses within the United States.

Product and pricing

The custom 12 × 16 inch portrait canvas costs $89 USD before applicable sales tax:

• $15 design deposit paid when the design request begins.
• $74 balance paid manually only after you approve the digital proof.

The deposit is credited toward the $89 total and is not an additional fee. The $74 balance is not charged automatically. Free standard tracked US shipping is included. Applicable sales tax is shown before each payment.

Photograph submission

You must own the submitted photograph or have permission from the rights holder to use it for this order. You must not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive, or misleading material.

You grant us a limited licence to use the submitted material only to assess the request, create and revise the portrait, communicate with you, manufacture and deliver the product, provide customer support, and maintain necessary legal records.

Submitting an image does not authorize public, advertising, promotional, or model-training use. Any such use requires separate, explicit permission.

Proof and revision process

After confirming that the photograph is suitable, we aim to send the first digital proof within two business days. This is a service target rather than a guaranteed deadline.

One reasonable revision to the digital proof is included. Any further revision or material change requires our written agreement, including any additional price, before work continues.

You are responsible for checking the proof carefully before approving it. Approval authorizes production and confirms the composition, crop, requested wording, and visible design details. A digital proof is provided for approval; no physical sample is supplied.

The product is an artistic interpretation rather than an exact photographic reproduction. Screen settings, printing, materials, and manufacturing can cause minor differences in colour, scale, texture, or placement. This does not affect your rights if the delivered product is defective or materially different from the approved proof.

Payment and production

The $15 deposit is refundable until digital proof approval. Upon approval, it becomes payment for completed design work and is credited toward the total.

Production begins only after proof approval, cleared payment of the $74 balance, and confirmation of a deliverable address. Refund and cancellation rights are described in our Refund Policy.

Shipping commitment

Before requesting the $74 balance, we will provide the current estimated production and delivery timing.

We will ship the order no later than 30 calendar days after proof approval, cleared balance payment, and confirmation of the delivery address. If we cannot meet that commitment, we will ask you to accept a revised date or cancel for a prompt refund. If legally required consent to the delay is not received, we will cancel and refund the order.

Intellectual property and personal use

Purchase includes the physical product for personal use. It does not transfer ownership of our design methods, store materials, branding, or unrelated intellectual property, and does not include commercial reproduction rights or a downloadable production file unless separately agreed in writing.

Legal rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections available where you live. Any jurisdiction clause is non-exclusive where applicable law requires otherwise.
